Implementations And Preventions on Depression/Anxiety.

       Hello All,

       A very warm welcome to everybody!

      Today my topic is “Depression”


     Depression, stress and anxiety are major and most commonly reported issues among the college students. Mostly depression among teenage youth are cause of their educational and academics performance. Most common reason for depression and other psychological problems include emotional breakdowns due to inferior feelings for others.These students must be guided and counselled properly to cope up with their their personal problems. 


          Well “Depression”  is a  worldwide spread disease that negatively affects how people feel  the way they think  and how they respond/act .It  also causes many disabilities in human .Many people are being affected by this depression globally and no wonder this is also considered as one of the most common mental health disorders.Depressed people feel low for some times and  feel hopeless for period of time and even thinks life isn’t a worth living,Sometimes they may even go for a medication.

       When people hear about depression they tend to think of it as sadness .Depression is a disease that afflicts the human psyche in such a way that the afflicted tends to act and react abnormally towards others and themselves too.Therefore it comes to no surprise to discover that adolescent depression is strongly linked to teen suicide .


        My intention of writing this blog is to increase awareness especially  among young generations about mental health and help them find solutions to this problem before its spoils your life.

 

DEPRESSION :  What’s The Deal ?

        At some or the other point of stage we all may experience symptoms like loss of interest on what we do , sadness ,lack of pleasure from performing our daily activities etc etc…For most people ,these symptoms are a completely normal act to unpleasant or stressful events they experience, example: financial issues. Negative feelings are usually very much painful but as time passes on they become less intense and disappear but when this feelings persists long they may affect people’s life and result in depression.  Depression is a mood disorder that is defined as losing interest in important parts of life. In recent surveys clinical had reached epidemic proportions and is widespread in the suburbs inner cities , farms , refugee camps , boardrooms and classrooms and more likely women are being depressed than man.

Students who drop out of a high school or college are more susceptible to depression & anxiety and have a higher risk of facing mental and physical health problems later in their life.

 MUST TO IMPLEMENT

Ø  There must be proper counselling centres or mentors and mentee programme should be made mandatory in all the schools and colleges.

Ø  A health committee should be formed and professionals must be hired and college must conduct activities for student and teachers too for their psychological conditions.

Ø  Government also should come up with more awareness programmes/events and bring more counselling centres available for the common people to educate them and stop/save them from suicidal attempts.

Ø Every parent  must have a keen observation on their child's behaviour to prevent these problems future.


 Few Prevention List Before Getting Worst  

v  Start your day with a smile.


v  Keep meditating atleast for 10- 15mins in the morning, which makes your day feel fresh.

v  Ignore the bad happened in the past.

v  Keep Listening to your favourite tracks.



v  Stay tuned to TV to watch some comedy skits.

v  Always feel free to share your feelings with your loved one.

v  Talk to your friends on video calls .

v  Engage yourself to some work.

v  Ask your mom to cook your favourite food make sure it must be healthy too.

v  Do not get panic ,give your best & be positive trusting god.

 "Depression" doesn't mean to end your life but it really means to face the challenging tasks coming your way and to prove what you are .
